Endless Concepts
We turn your desired pattern into an interactive 3-dimensional digital mold using computer modeling software. Creating this digital file concept allows us to generate the data we need for prototyping and manufacturing your product. From the conceptualization of an idea to the realization of a production part, Mercury Molds provides a wide variety of services to an ever-growing customer base.
Mastering the Design
The production of a high-quality Master Pattern is the first step in creating the molds and tooling suitable to provide parts. As such, construction is generally cost-sensitive. Mercury Molds will advise and recommend to our customers how and why they might consider various options. Those options will typically be CNC, Rapid Prototype (SLA or a similar process), or hand-built in-house by our Pattern Makers. Our most common construction is generally either FRP reinforced Epoxy or medium density foam. We will always advise a path for materials and operating infrastructure that we perceive as the most viable to achieve your quality requirements. We will maximize cost efficiency for the production of each particular product. You will own your tooling post-production.
